Loving Care Adult Day Health Care Center is an organized day program of therapeutic, social and health services for the frail elderly and other adults with physical or mental impairments. Adult Day Health Care Center, designed for physically and/or cognitively impaired adults, provides a structured day program which includes nursing, meals and transportation, social services and restorative therapies, such as physical, occupational, and speech, in a warm, caring and secured environment. The program is individualized for each person based on the participant’s plan of care.
We are Licensed and Medi-Cal certified community-based program (CBAS) located in San Diego since 1999.
Caring for a loved one with a debilitating disorder requiring constant attention and supervision is exhausting. Using Adult Day Health Care Center services allows the family caregiver time to work and provide support for their own family while still being able to care for their loved one at home, as long as medically, socially and economically possible.
Independence, self-expression and being part of a group helps adults, isolated by illness, disability or loss, maintain a positive orientation to life. By focusing on the maintenance of physical and mental health, Adult Day Health Care Center enables the participants to maintain as high a level of functioning as possible, thereby allowing them to remain in their homes and communities.
18 years of age or older (required)
One or more chronic or post acute medical, cognitive, or mental health condition(s) requiring monitoring, treatment, without which participant's condition will likely deteriorate and require emergency dept. visits and or hospitalization.
